SILK PURSES AND SOW'S EARS: TURNING OBSTACLES INTO OPPORTUNITY:
More and more women are succeeding in technology, but a significant gap still exists between where we are today and where we have the potential to be in the next decade. Those who have succeeded can tell you about the obstacles, and the different ways they have used their strengths to overcome them. In this year's workshop, you'll once again have the unique opportunity to get advice and coaching from successful leaders across the industry as we examine ways to turn imperfect situations into glittering successes, much like the saying about turning sow's ears into silk purses.

KEYNOTE ADDRESS:
Chris King, President and CEO, AMI Semiconductor

Chris shares her experience from rising through the ranks at IBM, launching IBM's ASIC business, making it the number one ASIC business in the world, and now becoming the first woman CEO of a semiconductor company. She addresses how to overcome stereotypes, position yourself for the plum assignment, use risk to your advantage, and fight that feeling of isolation when you're the only woman in the room, as well as how to find a mentor or coach. She'll give you her top five strategies for success in the challenging world of technology.

PANEL: COACHING AND FEEDBACK: DO I NEED IT AND WHERE DO I GET IT?:
