Slide Prep:
Slide Preparation

The quality of your presentation is very important for getting your points across to a large audience. DAC strives to supply you with the best support in both presentation equipment and assistance. Please read this document carefully while preparing your presentation.

DAC provides professionally prepared templates and a help desk to guide you in preparing your presentation. It is obligatory that you pass a rough draft of your presentation on to this help desk at slides@dac.com at an early stage; you will receive feedback which has been considered very valuable by DAC speakers in the past. We want you to make good use of this service to improve your presentation and make it pleasing to the eye and effective in communicating the important ideas.

In this section (the Slide Prep tab) you will find an elaborate manual on how to go about preparing your slides. See the Talk Prep tab for tips on converting your written paper to a technical presentation.

All the provided templates have been tested and proven to be very well suited for producing the type of presentations in a technical community such as DAC. We urge you to pick one of the provided templates. If, however, you feel the need to deviate from those, you must send an example of your suggestion to slides@dac.com in order to have it tested for any irregularities and to be given helpful hints on how to improve your design if necessary.

A list of available equipment can be found under the At DAC tab. Your own comments, tips and tricks, and those of others can be added and read in the interactive FAQs, in which we urge you to participate.
